My Friend is , and knows that she is, a desendant of HerculesSkinner she is of Anglo Indian origin and came to England as a child, with her mother, at the time of partion.
I will not be seeing her again untill April, as she lives in Spain, is there any chance that you can put possible research my way to help me help her.

Thanks for your message. The Skinner family is widely distributed both here and in India (they still live in James’ mansion in Mussoorie). I’m afraid I don’t have much info on the genealogical side so not sure what assistance I can offer. I can help with regimental history and details so please let me know if that’s of any use.
